Postnatal Support
Embracing a new phase of parenthood
Congratulations, your baby is finally here. Alongside the love, connection, and those beautiful little newborn moments, the postnatal period can also feel physically and emotionally intense.
The hormonal shifts, tiredness, recovery, and adjustment to a new rhythm can feel overwhelming at times, even when everything is deeply wanted and loved.
Sometimes you may need someone to listen. Other times, you may need practical help around the house, guidance with feeding, reassurance, or support in finding your own village and support network.
This is what postnatal doula support can look like. It can be many things at once, or simply the one thing you need most in that moment.
My role is to support you and your family in a way that feels helpful, reassuring, and adapted to your needs, so you feel more held and less alone as you move through this new phase of parenthood.
Sometimes, it is simply about having someone who understands, supports you, and has your back when you need it most.
This support may be helpful if you are:
-
Adjusting to life with a newborn and wanting extra support
-
Looking for reassurance and emotional support during the postnatal period
-
Wanting an extra helping hand around the house while you recover
-
Needing guidance with newborn care and feeding
-
Wanting space to rest, recover, and feel looked after too
How support works
I offer flexible postnatal support packages designed to adapt around your family, your routine, and the kind of support you need during this stage.
Support can include more regular visits in the early days, or sessions spaced out more evenly over time, depending on what feels most helpful for you and your family.
I also offer overnight support if you are looking for a more supported and nurtured night’s rest during the postnatal period.
What I can help with
-
Emotional support and reassurance throughout your postnatal journey
-
Newborn care guidance and hands-on practical support
-
Feeding support and general reassurance
-
Light household tasks, groceries, or small errands
-
Helping you access helpful resources and additional support if needed

My aim
To help you feel supported, cared for, and less alone during the postnatal period.
To create space for recovery, adjustment, and reassurance as you settle into life with your baby and navigate the changes that early parenthood can bring.
My aim is also to support you in reconnecting with yourself as you step into this new version of motherhood. With so many emotional, physical, and mental changes happening at once, it is important that you feel seen, supported, and reminded of the incredible work you are doing, even if this is not your first time becoming a mother.
More support. More reassurance. More confidence for you and your family.
Important information
Postnatal support hours are to be used within 8 weeks of purchase. Any unused hours after this time may no longer be available, and no refunds will be issued.
Cancellations or changes to booked visits require at least 24–48 hours’ notice where possible, except in cases of emergency.
In the unlikely event that I am unable to attend a visit due to attending a birth or an emergency, any booked time will either be refunded or rescheduled, depending on your preference.
