Welcome

My name Ines and I’m a certified birth and postnatal doula, and I believe every family deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported as they grow. My approach is warm and intuitive, and I do my best to simplify life wherever I can, something I hope to bring to you as well. However your journey unfolds, I’ll be by your side with care, calm, and compassion. Pregnancy, birth, and the early days of parenthood can be full of big feelings, questions, and beautiful moments. You don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m here to offer gentle guidance, evidence-based information, emotional support, and a calming presence, every step of the way, for you and your birth partner. Whether you're preparing to give birth, settling into life with a new baby, or simply looking for someone to hold space for your journey, I’m here for you. My goal is to help you feel more confident in your choices and to ease the pressure or doubts you may be experiencing along the way.

What is a Doula

A doula is a trained professional who provides continuity of care during pregnancy, labour, and after the baby arrives. Doulas offer emotional and physical support, along with balanced, evidence-based information, throughout every stage of the journey. These stages include: Pregnancy and birth, postnatal period, overnight care and antenatal preparation. It’s important to find a doula you feel connected to, comfortable with, and able to trust. Before choosing a doula, make sure they’re the right fit for you and your family. Take your time, ask questions, and allow space for a genuine connection—not every pot fits every lid.

What a Doula isn't

Doulas DO NOT: Conduct medical procedures or provide medical care. However, they may guide you to appropriate healthcare providers when medical concerns arise. Diagnose conditions or offer medical advice. Make decisions on behalf of you or your partner. Act as mediators during medical consultations. While they support you in expressing your preferences, they do not speak on your behalf. Replace medical professionals. Doulas work alongside your healthcare team, not in place of them. Replace counselling or therapy services.

My Services

Since completing my training, I’ve joined a mentoring program to continue growing as a doula and to provide you with the best possible support. As part of this program, we’ll have the benefit of guidance from my experienced mentor. In exchange for your feedback, I’m offering my birth doula services at a reduced rate during this period.

Antenatal

Preparation for birth

Number of Sessions: 2 to 3 Duration: 2 to 3 hours each When: Usually from 30 weeks of pregnancy, but sessions can be scheduled earlier or later depending on your needs Where: Online or in the comfort of your home Whether you're planning a home birth or a hospital birth, I’ll be by your side every step of the way. These sessions are designed to help you feel prepared, confident, and organised—bringing greater peace of mind as you approach birth and the early days of parenting. We’ll cover topics such as pain relief, the stages of labour, breastfeeding, and more. There’s no need to memorise everything—we’ll move at your pace, and you’ll have time to review and reflect. I’ll also be available via WhatsApp for any questions or concerns you or your partner may have after the sessions. Costs: £150 + transports

Birth

A full approach from pregnancy until birth

Includes: 2 to 3 antenatal sessions 24/7 on-call availability from 38 weeks until 42 weeks 1 postnatal visit (3 to 4 hours) Ongoing WhatsApp support You’ll receive plenty of information during our antenatal sessions to help you prepare, organise, ask questions, and feel more confident about birth and the early days of parenting. From 38 weeks, I’ll be on-call 24/7, ready to support you whenever labour begins. I’ll also be available on WhatsApp throughout for any questions, concerns, or reassurance you may need. When the big day arrives, I will do my best to be by your side throughout labour, offering the support you and/or your partner need—always honouring your birth preferences. My aim is to help you feel safe, calm, empowered, and supported as you move through each stage of labour. I’ll gently remind you of your strength and help you stay connected to your choices. I’ll also work closely with your partner, offering guidance, reassurance, and reminders to keep them feeling confident and involved. Once your baby is in your arms and you're both settled in your love bubble, I will quietly step away so you can rest and enjoy that special time. Within a few days, I’ll return for a follow-up postnatal visit to check in on how you're both doing. During this visit, I’ll offer support with feeding, emotional well-being, and even light household tasks if needed. I would love to hear about your birth experience, celebrate your journey, and continue supporting you as you settle into this beautiful new chapter. Costs: £1200 + transports

Postnatal

Home visits during your postnatal period

As a postnatal doula, my role is to support your recovery, emotional well-being, and help you adjust to life with your newborn. This time can be joyful and overwhelming in equal measure—and you don’t have to navigate it alone. I will do my best to guide you in finding additional healthcare support and trusted contacts, and provide any information you may need to feel more confident and supported. I’m also happy to assist with light household duties, groceries, or any other small tasks that help ease your load—or simply be there to listen, support, and hold space for you. If you'd like to book additional visits, that can easily be arranged. Rate: £25/hour + transport Duration: 3 to 4 hours Flexible options can be discussed during booking While I currently do not offer overnight care (as I have a small baby of my own who needs me during the night), I’ll be happy to help you find a trusted doula who does offer this service. About me

Mother | Doula | Nurse | Coach | Reiki | Systemic Family Constellations

A Few Fun Facts About Me:

  • I’m a proud cat mum to Luna, my sweet (and sassy) feline companion.

  • I’m vegetarian—but I still love cooking all kinds of meals, including non-veggie dishes.

  • Music is a big part of my life. I’m always humming… sometimes without even realising it!

  • I find genuine joy in organizing things—it’s like therapy for me.

I’m originally from Portugal and moved to the UK in 2010. Since then, I’ve worked as a nurse, supporting people through some of life’s most vulnerable and meaningful moments. But alongside my nursing career, I’ve always felt a strong pull toward something deeper, something more heart-led and intuitive.

Over the years, I followed that pull and began exploring the world of Reiki, Astrology, Coaching, NLP, meditation, and more recently, Family Constellations therapy. Each of these practices helped me reconnect with myself and made me realise how much I love holding space for others as they navigate their own journeys.

It took me some time to find my true path. I’ve never been someone who fits neatly into one bo. I’m a mix of science and soul, structure and intuition. My path has had many twists and turns, but it’s led me right where I need to be.

Becoming a Doula feels like coming home.

Supporting people through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum is an honour I don’t take lightly. It brings together everything I care about: nurturing, empowering, listening, and walking alongside others during one of life’s most powerful transitions.

This is more than a role for me, it’s a calling. And I’m so excited to walk this path with the families I serve.

This is just the beginning of a beautiful journey. ♥
